For the 2019 re-imagining of Disney's Aladdin, Industrial Light and Magic created live-action versions of the beloved children's characters. As the primary vendor for the show, ILM was responsible for most of the digital creature and environment work. As part of the creature team, I helped create the Magic Carpet flying rig, digi-double rigs for Aladdin and Jasmine, and the animation rig for Jafar's Genie variant. I helped create the simulation setup for Jasmine and Genie Jafar. I also ran in-shot muscle, skin, fur, and cloth simulations for Abu and Genie, feather simulations for Iago, and cloth and hair simulations for Jasmine, Aladdin, and the carpet.
